The Indian Church Measure and Indian Church Act 1927
The Indian Church Act of 1927 was a British Parliament act that dissolved the legal union between the Church of England and the Church of England in India. The act was passed on December 22, 1927 to implement the legal changes that resulted from the dissolution and to define the new relationship between the two churches.
